Hello dear friends! I have decided to begin a new blog. I have often thought of deleting my blog, but I decided that I should keep it. Not because of the posts, but I would not want to loose all of your sweet and encouraging comments. I prayed about what I should do, and felt I would try beginning a new blog. I am still working on it, but I do have my first post up and hope that all of my sweet friends will visit me. I apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you. Please know how grateful I am for all of you that visit me and take time to leave such kind words, I feel so very blessed to have made such dear friends through blogging! May the Lord bless you!

Hi Paula,
Keeping up with a blog is more work than I thought it would be, but I love it. I cannot post more than twice a week because of time constraints. I find that I see things differently now that I'm keeping a blog. Nothing is taken for granted anymore. There is beauty everywhere.
I love to read your posts and messages that you leave me. I would miss you too much if you stopped.
Hugs,
June

Dear Paula and Pearl,
We're so glad that you decided to not delete this sweet blog! We have spent a delightful time looking at all of your Rose Cottage by the Lake blog! Your Nature Journal with all of your hand drawn birds is so special. We love your sweet smiling Annie having tea at her tea party with her Annie friends. She is so cute in her highchair with her cupcake and tea at Easter and at your May Day celebration with all the pretty flowers. We enjoy seeing all of the pretty things that you make for your home and the dresses and aprons that you make for yourself and look so lovely in! All of your photographs of Pearl are always a delight to see!
In your January 31, 2009 post you photographed a white Holy Bible on your vanity that you have had since you were a little girl. I told Sarah that that your Bible is the same as the white Bibles given to my cousin and myself one year by my Grandmother at Christmas. We also received flashlights and I can remember sitting on her old dark stairway with our flashlights looking at all of the pictures. The illustration of Noah coming outside the ark with the rainbow and dove is so memorable ... I have it open on my lap as I type. Little David and Big Goliath, Jesus healing the sick, and The Nativity....all so impressive to two little girls with their flashlights. My Bible's zipper is now broken and pulled out on both ends. There used to be a cross to pull the zipper with. My name is printed in the lower right hand corner.
Your blogs are a delight to us!
Your kindred spirits,
Fondly, Diane and daughter Sarah
